4-H
What is 4-H?
4-H is a national youth development program that empowers kids and teens to learn by doing. Through hands-on projects in areas like animal care, agriculture, leadership, and community service, 4-H helps young people build confidence, responsibility, and lifelong skills.
At Witt’s End Farm, we support local 4-H members by giving them opportunities to:
-
Work directly with farm animals in a safe and supportive environment
-
Prepare animals, such as goats and rabbits, for shows like the Osceola County Fair
-
Take part in projects that teach responsibility, compassion, and teamwork
-
Give back to the community through service activities and outreach
By connecting youth with animals and community service, 4-H encourages them to become not only skilled caretakers, but also caring and engaged citizens.
